We designed this summer home to meet the needs of a San Francisco socialite family. They wanted privacy, and to delineate the yard from their vineyard. The only existing plant material that was present were the beautiful Ancient Oak trees. All existing hardscape was removed except for the brick steps leading to the house. We designed a new driveway and made the focal point, the gorgeous Ancient Oak tree in front. We added a swimming pool with beveled coping and cement pavers with grass in between. We installed an outdoor kitchen and pergola, raised stone garden beds, a bocce court, and mini potager. The stone rock walls were hand chipped and squared off. The plant color palate was white and green.
